The Lizzie Piano Method is a conservatory-structured curriculum delivered through a private membership platform. It mirrors the experience of private study while allowing you the flexibility to learn from home, on your own schedule.
Upon enrollment, you receive private login credentials and immediate access to your tier’s full curriculum. Each lesson builds intentionally on the next, so you always know what to practice and how to improve.
This is not passive content.
It is guided study, thoughtfully designed for real musicianship.

You will study with a two-time doctorate graduate holding degrees in Music Education and Piano Performance.
With 18 years of teaching experience and an active career as a concert pianist, I have trained students across the country, including many who study virtually.
The Lizzie Piano Method reflects the same pedagogy used in private instruction. It is developmentally sound, professionally structured, and built for lasting musicianship.
Learn at Your Own Pace
There are no deadlines, fixed semesters, or weekly appointments.
You progress at a pace that allows true mastery. Some students move steadily each month, while others take additional time within a module. The structure supports both approaches.
This program is ideal for:

How It Works:
Membership Structure
The program is offered as a monthly membership, giving you continued access to structured instruction while you progress at a pace that allows true mastery.
There are two tiers of study:
Tier I: Allegro – $150/month
Modules 1 & 2 | Lesson Book Levels 1 & 2
Allegro establishes your foundational skills:
• Confident note reading
• Proper hand position and posture
• Rhythmic accuracy
• Coordinated hand movement
• Foundational repertoire
• Healthy technical habits
This tier is ideal for beginners or those revisiting piano who want to build a solid, lasting foundation.
Tier II: Presto – $205/month
Modules 3 & 4 | Lesson Book Levels 3 & 4
Presto represents refinement and advancement:
• Greater technical control
• Expanded rhythmic fluency
• Musical expression and dynamic shaping
• Increased hand independence
• More sophisticated repertoire
At this level, students move beyond foundational mechanics into confident, expressive musicianship.
Required Lesson Books
The program follows carefully selected lesson books that reflect the same materials used in private instruction.
For Module 1, the curriculum follows:
• Lesson Book Level 1
• Activity Book
• Flashcards
These may be purchased as a complete package or individually. Adult learners who feel confident may choose to purchase only the Lesson Book and still follow the course successfully.

Curated Supplemental Resources
In addition to the required books, you will receive thoughtfully curated supplemental resources designed to extend your study beyond the core curriculum.

The intention is not to replace the lesson books but to deepen engagement by connecting technique, reading, and theoretical understanding to authentic musical repertoire.
